Wood Scraps

Welcome another hanging for one of our empty walls!  I absolutely love how this turned out.  And to think my husband almost burned these wood scraps.

For this project, that was extremely easy, I removed the rusty nails from all three pieces, stacked them on top of each other, and nailed them together with the rusty nails that I pulled out so they blended in.  After I let it dry from being out in the rain all season, I free handed, with craft paint, a typewriter lettering .  It's definitely not perfect, but only adds to the look I was going for.  Lastly, I gave it a little sanding to chip off and fade some of the paint.  Easy as that!  A simple furnishing for our entryway.
