What do I do?

Apparel Design
In 2005 I attended the Fashion Design program at Brooks College in Long Beach, CA.  There, I learned a few new tricks; drawing techniques, fabric dying, concept boards.  Although, most of what they taught I had already learned throughout high school in my textiles class.

Quilt Design
In the years that followed Brooks College, I would make a dress here or a skirt there.  But my machine mostly saw quilts.  Patterns, colors, and textures always inspire.

I took to sewing like it was in my blood.  Well, I guess you can say it kinda is.  But then again, who doesn't have a grandmother that sewed at some point in time.

Craft Design
My mother has always been a major craft guru.  All I can say is, like mother like daughter.  Christmas ornaments, signs, restoring furniture, halloween costumes, you name it, I love and do it all.

All in all, I will re-construct that old blouse by adding a modern touch, fabricate that skirt you envisioned, build a baby quilt to match the nursery, or create a love sign for your special day.
